Yes. As a mobile society, many of you use multiple computers. Social bookmarking sites let you store your bookmarks online and access them from ANY computer that has an internet connection. You can share your bookmarks with friends and you can search for bookmarks based on keywords you specify for your search.

EVERY time a visitor adds your website to their favorite social bookmarking site they are creating a link back to your site. These backlinks will point to the page the user saved. They will usually have the page title you assigned that page as the bookmark title. The visitor has the opportunity to add a description and keyword tags to the saved bookmark. The bookmark can be made public so anyone can find it and your site or they can set it to private so access is limited.
