Setting the right price for your product or service is ALWAYS tricky. If the price is too low, the public may not see any value and too high drives away buyers.

Every business needs to build but we are so often stuck in the day-to-day operations that we cannot fully implement our marketing plan or build customer relations the way we should.

Some business owners are control freaks and feel they must do everything for it to be done right. Other business owners delegate too much out and loose control of their business.

The key here is both the balance and the perceived value of doing it yourself or hiring someone to do some of the mundane tasks.
            • Accounting
            • Tax Preparation
            • Investment Strategies
            • and more

are just a few areas you might consider outsourcing to someone so you can get a bigger bang out of your time. Let's use the following as an example to see IF you think the marketer has given enough info to generate the RIGHT perceived value for the price or if he missed the mark.

Here's the Table of Contents as listed on the sales page which is located at OutSourced Tactics Unleashed.

I suggest you look at that sales page and many others to judge the copy, price and perceived value. Once you've done that, look at your business to see where you might have missed the mark. If you cannot honestly evaluate your own products or services, find someone within your industry you trust to be honest with you. It may cost you some cash but it may help improve your bottm line.

I absolutely agree with your observation on price and perception.

I just wrote a blog entry which outlines a study on product "likability" and price, here.

The best way to find the right price is to continually test.
