What exactly is Search Big Daddy?
Search Big Daddy (aka SBD) is a search engine, social networking site, classified ad site, a video hosting site, a place to send ecards, a blog and an income opportunity.
Like most social networking sites, it can be very time consuming and addictive if you don’t budget your time.
Everyone that joins Search Big Daddy will receive regular communications from the administration giving you news and tips but more often than not they are pitches to upgrade which isn’t cheap.
One tip that was sent out not too long ago was a valid tip though that every business owner should think about. SBD was promoting their ecard services but the tip was to send an ecard every day to someone on your contact list. This card should be something to make that person feel good about themselves, their business or life. It should NOT be about you or your business. The whole point of the card is to put the recipient in a good mood or positive mindset so when they look at the signature they’ll see your name and a link to your business or SBD site.
This tip is valuable because it lets you stay in touch with people without blatantly promoting your business. By putting the focus on them, you are able to sneak in a reminder of your business with no defensive shields present.
You can take this one step further with your customers and send them Christmas cards, birthday cards or other appropriate cards by the off line mail service once or twice a year just to keep your name fresh in their minds.
This is a subtle advertising method that is reminding them of your brand and building trust by focusing on them and their lives rather than you and your business.
I’m willing to bet very few of your competitors are sending greeting cards online or offline because it takes time, money if done offline and a willingness to build relationships with people.
If used properly, I think you could use Search Big Daddy to build your business through networking. Whether it’ll be effective as a search engine is questionable yet but it can be very good for social networking enthusiests.
