Lead generation and product sales are the goals of many marketers. JP Schoeffel has written Squidoo Profits which is a series of 4 ebooks. He set it up so you buy the first one and receive the other three as bonuses. You also receive Master resell rights as a bonus. I’ve been seeing Squidoo lenses show up at or near the top of some highly targeted niches so I felt it was important to learn more about what Squidoo is and what a lens is and how they can be used to help my business. Squidoo is free to join and delivers highly targeted traffic. We are talking free advertising here. I believe JP did a great job of teaching me the basics of Squidoo and how I can use it to build a mailing list, generate leads for your business or to sell products you own or affiliate products. The blueprint JP laid out gave me a specific step by step plan I can actually use to create Squidoo lenses. It took me about an hour to create my first lens because I was trying to find ways to add my affiliate ID for the modules I chose to use. It looks like they are tied to Squidoo and they have deals with the different providers. You will need to become an affiliate of the program such as Amazon or ebay but you will not be able to enter your affiliate ID. JP says in the books he wrote, and the Squidoo forums back him up, that you’ll make much more selling either your products or affiliate products by writing reviews that make the visitor desire the product or service. Target your lenses on low competition keyword phrases for products that pay well or to drive traffic to landing pages for the product. The key is to follow JP’s guidance because his system is working, money is being made, Google loves Squidoo lenses because real content is provided and there are only 126,539 lenses as of April 28, 2007. Putting up a lens is similar to writing an article for ezinearticles.com but you don’t have an editor to bother you, you can include affiliate links plus additional income streams and you can add additional content or RSS feeds later if the lens is a hit. Imagine creating a really targeted lens about an in demand product or service then getting it listed in Google in 2-3 days. If you are selling products, using Commission Junction or a similar program to make money or you want to build within your industry or niche, you should give Squidoo a serious look and Squidoo Profits will dramatically lower your learning curve. JP gives you specific information you can put to use for lead generation through an optin list. I fully approve of JP’s work and use the information I was taught.
