Did You Know You Can Build Your Brand While Creating Another Income Stream?
Do you want multiple income streams that continue to provide for you while you’re on vacation or when an unforeseen event happens? If yes, read this article.
Building your brand is important for local businesses, national businesses and global businesses.
Your brand usually either starts with your logo or your company slogan. You must make your brand noticeable and memorable across every marketing medium that you use. This includes but is not limited to:
- your stationary
- your invoices
- your website
- your social media sites
- your print ads
- and many, many more venues
Amazon is one of the additional venues that you can use that has the potential to:
- build your brand
- build your authority in your niche
- create one or more passive income streams
I’m specifically talking about creating and then selling books on Amazon.
You are probably capable of creating one or more books that people would be interested in even if you cannot type a single word.
All you need to be able to do is organize your thoughts into topics and subtopics that you want to talk about within a book then use this outline to record an article around each topic and subtopic.
If you have 10 topics and you come up with 10 subtopics for each topic and you then write a 500 word article on each subtopic, you will have written a 50,000 word book.
Non-typists can record their articles then pay someone to transcribe them. Once each article has been transcribed, you can pay another person to proofread it for you if you don’t feel like doing it yourself.
To make your book more interesting, you will need relevant photographs or drawings that help make the point being discussed in each subtopic.
You will need to research the Amazon bookstore both in the printed books and in the Kindle bookstore to see what the most popular books in your niche have for covers. Once you have this knowledge, use it to come up with ideas for your own book cover.
Don’t worry; you don’t need to create the cover yourself. Give a professional your ideas along with your title and subtitle and have them create the cover for you.
You can even hire someone to put each of your articles into a Microsoft Word document along with your illustrations or photographs so the table of contents can be created and the book can be formatted for the Kindle bookstore and then formatted a second time so Amazon’s Create Space can be used for your printed book.
For the printed book, you’ll need a photograph of you and an author’s bio that will show on the back of the book. You will also need a different cover because of the size. You’ll also need a side panel and you’ll need the back cover that has your picture and bio.
Amazon is the largest bookseller in the world and being a published author will instantly boost your authority and if your book is marketed correctly you will also create a passive income stream. The income generated from your book may start out slow but sales could pick up as you gain positive reader reviews and as you write additional books on similar subjects.
Some industries that are a perfect match for bookselling are:
- interior decorating
- how to books on almost any subject
- and many, many more
Discover your passions and then list the skills you have or intend to acquire. Use your knowledge as the foundation you build on then choose where you want to start.
Once you’ve chosen a starting point, take action.
Book writing isn’t that difficult for those that are willing to take consistent action and the potential rewards in dollars and authority make the effort worthwhile.
