A lot of social media marketers and business owners have written off Google+ but that’s a mistake because many of your competitors may be one of the businesses that’s included in this next statistic.

Each social media site becomes a digital store front for every business and most of us cannot afford to ignore even one of these platforms because our demographic is probably using one or more of the platforms that I mentioned in this article.
Most of the social media platforms as a cover graphic on them that takes up anywhere from 30% to 60% of the visible page and most business owners just let it sit there like an unused billboard alongside the highway.
The YouTube cover graphic only takes up about 30% of the page but 50% of the Facebook page is taken up by the cover image and 60% of the Google+ page is taken up by the cover image.
This is free space you can be used for advertising but most of you are letting it go to waste.
