You can be a marketing success and still not experience the business success you’d hoped for if you don’t have all the necessary elements in place.
In my last article, I mentioned successful marketers include continuing education in their business and mentioned Home Wealth University as one place to get it. I also mentioned that action on the information they have and acquire is necessary.
Other elements that are necessary for a successful business are:
- A clear vision of where you want your business and life to go. (Goals)
- A consistent action plan that helps you stay on your chosen path.
- Effective time management
- Tracking and testing
These are all vital so success in both business and life.
Goals are the why you are working. Some examples of long term goals are:
- The home of your dreams.
- More time to spend with your family.
- The ability to buy what you want when you want it without having to worry about paying for it.
- Have time to volunteer for your favorite cause.
- Losing the weight you need to lose.
- Getting healthy and maintaining it with exercise and nutrition.
Your goals need to be as clear and specific as possible with a stated timeline to reach each milestone along the way. Whole books have been written on this subject but I recommend Setting & Achieving Goals Now! Because it’s a self help program that helps you eliminate self defeating mindsets and instill the mindset needed to reach your goals.
Unstoppable Motivation Now!, Win Friends & Influence People Now!, Effective Time Management Now!, End Procrastination Now! and Accelerated Sales Success Now! are all self improvement titles produced by Think Right International that can help you remove self limiting beliefs so you can become the business success you want to be.
Think Right Now also has a wide ranging library of self help programs for personal improvement too. These are as important as the business titles because you are an integral part of your business and the happier your are with your life the more that joy shows in everything you say and do.
Your daily action plan is basically a To Do list you create each night for the next day. Prioritize your tasks from most important to least and allocate so much time to each task.
If you run out of day before you complete your tasks, and you will, move the uncompleted tasks to the list for the next day.
When you write out your tasks and assign them time limits, you are more focused on completing the task and your productivity increases.
Schedule in breaks so you don’t burn out and include family or play time so you aren’t forgetting why you are working.
If you can get photographs or write out a detailed description of EXACTLY what your ideal life will be and describe how you intend to achieve that goal, you may be surprised at how easy it is to break that dream into smaller chunks you can achieve and use as stepping stones to become a marketing success, a business success and a success in life.
